Building Information Modeling
Building and construction data modelling. A model contains digitally recorded physical and functional properties of a designed structure.
CAD software is employed for modelling. A model is created using 3-D objects such as walls, ceilings, roofs, windows, doors, all having particular sets of parameters. Any changes to elements comprised in the model are reflected in a 3-D representation of the model, coupled with geometrical and material indices.
